Mirage

Was walking down the road
Sun right on head, through a deserted road
density layers varying a lot
I thought

My thirst for water will be quenched
when i cover next few steps
but God why didnt I know
It was all a Mirage!!!

After knowing that such mirage are not rare
still I traveled with my feet bare
It wasnt just the temptation
it was something else
which could not be defined nor be understood

Knowing its not water, Knowing its making me lose more of my energy
But still I didnt stop thinking one day there will sure be water
I kept walking down the road
